Dallas Skyline Sunset Views
Last Monday, on Memorial Day, it stormed and rained all day long. The storms all came to a halt just in time for the Dallas sky to attempt its first sunset in about a month. If you've been following the news, you'll know that I'm only being slightly dramatic with my time table. One thing to look forward to after a full day of storms though, is the sunset you'll get to witness when the skies clear. CB and I sat snuggled on the couch watching House of Cards, when we looked out the window and saw this...
I of course jumped up and opened the balcony door and started snapping away. I sat back down, satisfied that I had gotten the picture, and we hit play on Netflix. I have about the same number of this exact picture of the Dallas Skyline, as I do of General and Veenie, so I didn't get too worked up over this particular image.
Abut 10 minutes later, I turn my head to look out the window again, and the sky had completely changed.
I snap again, then press play and sit back down. Ten minutes pass, I look out the window and the sky has changed to this...
It was at this point that I realized I should probably just stay standing until Mother Nature turned out the lights for good. It only got more incredible from here...
It was just a little ridiculous.
There is no point to this post other than
(A.) I wanted these pictures to come live on my blog
(B.) Merica.
B. Always B.
