Blowouts + Bubbly

  One of my favorite things to do is to go get my hair blown out. If you've never gotten your hair blown out, you may just think that someone washes your hair, round brushes it straight and you're on your way. That is one possibility, yes, but there are actually tons of different options and styles to choose from when you get a blowout. Beachy waves, big barrel curls, sleek and super straight, braids, updos... anything you want they can do for you. 
As someone who finds watching hair infomercials at midnight highly therapeutic, I love to get my hair blown out for more reasons than just having great hair for a few days. I watch the stylist hold the blow dryer, watch where they place the curling iron, follow the products they use and when they use them. I've gotten my hair blown out a lot over the past few years, it never gets old and I always learn something new to take home with me! 
This past week I was lucky enough to get to attend a girl's night blow out event with Palm Breeze at the Blo Bar in Dallas. My friend Larissa and I met Helene and her friend Lyndsie for a night of pampering and Palm Breeze umbrella style drinks that were as delicious as they were pretty. Ever since I first tried Palm Breeze, I was hooked. I had an absolute blast socializing, getting dolled up and learning some new tricks of the hair trade! 

We also got to meet fellow blogger Lauryn from The Skinny Confidential who was in Dallas for the event. 

I don't know about you, but a Thursday evening mini vacation from the work week is always welcome...
...... particularly when it involves drinks and blowouts!
