Gee Does The Purina One 28-Day Challege

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Purina One, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #ONEDifference http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Hi, have you met Gee?
I've talked about him on the blog once or 182 times.  I've had General since February of 2009, adopting him just two months after I graduated from the University of Tennessee. For those of you that didn't know, General is named after General Robert Neyland, one of the greatest football coaches of all time, and the namesake of UT's football stadium.

Gee was 1 when I adopted him, so for all you math majors out there that makes him 6! Although nothing, and I mean nothing, will hold General back from barking his head off for as many hours as it takes to get the squirrel down from a tree, he really is a pretty lazy pup. Nothing like his nutcase 2 year old sister...

Unfortunately for Vennie, this post isn't about her. Which is tough for any woman to hear, I know, sorry Vee.

Having two pups so vastly different, it would be nice to see Gee perk up and be as active as his puppy sister every once in a while! Enter the Purina One 28 Day Challenge.

The Purina One 28 Day challenge is not only intended to boost your pup's energy levels, but also their dental health, skin, coat, eyes and digestion. I was really excited for General to partake in the challenge, not just for the boosted energy, but also for his dental health. Gee has given me some scares in the past, including one vet telling me he only had a matter of months to live due to a "tumor" in his jaw. Thank the lord that turned out to be exactly that, a scare, but I now constantly stress over his dental health.

I had perviously been using a different dog food, but after switching the Gee Sir to Purina One for 28 days, I kid you not, I saw an increase in his energy levels and overall demeanor. I mean, other than the pigeon incident heard round the world, he has no problem keeping up with me for C25k! His coat even started to look shiner after only about 10 days.
I actually even switched Veenie to Purina One as well, but lord knows Veenie doesn't need any more energy. Maybe Purina One makes a Jack Russell blend that includes some sort of sedative? I'll look into that....

If you want your pup to be just like Gee (and hullooo who wouldn't want a sweet little boy like Gee?!) you can have your fur baby take the Purina One 28 Day Challenge too! Use this link here for $3 off your next bag of Purina One, and to sign your pup up for the challenge!
