My goodness you have an incredible job! So exciting and you actually get to use your graphic designing skills. You must love that. It's funny that your experience in Canada was cold compared to all of the other warm places you visited. AND- if you want to write aye.. I'd go with a simple 'eh'.. A little Canadian lesson for ya ;) Aye- would be more of an Australian spelling me thinks..!
Had no idea you were a graphic designer! I was always wondering, "How is everyone so good at putting graphics together for their blogs?" And now it all makes sense. Love your new blog design!
I'm seriously jealous of your travel opportunities! I haven't made it to the point where they send me places yet, but maybe I'll go to Austin in a month. Fingers crossed? ha
Uhm...you totally have an amazing job. I just got back from NOLA not too long ago... ahhhmazing. I'm originally from Florida and I love all of those locations :) But seriously, whenever you come to visit Knoxville again, we need a blog date. I'm only an hour away!!!
I lived in St Pete (actually Clearwater, but same thing, almost). And your are so right, sunsets that will melt your heart. Nothing beats a Florida sunset :)
You are so lucky you get to travel for work and do graphic design. Those two are seriously things I wanna do but I haven't explored much on the graphic design and I guess I can always start somewhere right? I mean I've been using Photoshop for the longest so I'm sure I learned a thing or two :)
I love all your pictures! Especially the palm trees in Miami. Oh how I miss palm trees!!
Thanks for doing this linkup, it's seriously too cool for school :D
Your job sounds pretty sweet! I LOVED all the pictures. You obviously have learned a lot and can put it to use in both work and the blog...so awesome. Thanks for hosting!
I think this might be my favorite linkup ever and I think you might have the coolest job ever. I'd love to see a post in the future with advice on applying for jobs in cities where you don't live
I've been self teaching myself Photoshop as well and man it's hard! Adobe Illustrator is SO much easier for me. I'm thinking about getting Photoshop for Dummies :)
So jealous of all of your traveling opportunities! I used to work in the boating industry and we would go to the Toronto Boat Show every year. I swear this winter was particularly brutal, but I would still recommend scheduling your next vacation in Toronto for the summer. Take a quick trip to Muskoka and the boating can totally count as work, right?
Some amazing places you have visited with your work! Sounds like you made a good decision moving there!

Oh! Come back to Toronto and let's go do fun stuff! But preferably not in the winter because I like to hibernate when it's cold.

ReplyDeleteYay! Come back to Toronto and let's go do fun things! Except preferably not during the winter because I tend to hibernate when it's cold outside...
ReplyDeleteUm, I'm sorry. I do not know why that happened... I must be really amped about your job?
