Well dang, that was fast. I blinked and then the 4 day weekend was over. You know what would be freaking sweet? If the work week went by as fast as the weekend. Let's make that happen, come on scientists.
I had a break filled with work and football. Why was I working? Well that is a story for another post later this week, but at least I was working from home, so don't feel too bad for me! We have inventory in the warehouse this week at work, so I'll be climbing step ladders and getting dirty....two things I despise. With that said, you can go ahead and feel bad for me now.
As I mentioned last week, I got to spend Thanksgiving at the Cowboys game! I can't even put into words how much fun I had, but since a picture says 1,000 words, here are 34,000 words describing the fun I had at the game on Thursday!

I'm posting this picture of the pom pom because she has gone missing. Right after I took this picture, she fell out of my pocket never to be seen again. Thanks again, NFL purse rule, you've struck again.
They gave out eye black stickers to all the fans at the door, so I tried to do an intimidating face for the camera. I was clearly going for a Little Giants Intimidation face....
Turns out, I don't have one.
Selena was horribly boring and quite the let down. I really expected more. Maybe it was because I was on the wrong side of the field, or maybe it was because I was in the upper deck, but half time shows really just looks so much more grand on television.
My Cowboys won, so I'm happy and can't wait to go back to AT&T Stadium in a couple weeks with my mama to watch the Cowboys take on the Packers!
Oh, and I decorated the blog for the Holidays! It's here, it's here! So I thought, we decorate our houses, why not our blogs, right? Happy glitter season, y'all!
Now off I go to climb ladders in a dusty, dirty warehouse, ugh.
I like the Christmasy look on the blog! Super cute! Thanksgiving was perfect, the Horns & Cowboys won! ;)
ReplyDeleteI may not care much for foozeball but I am a big fan of those boots!!

Love the holiday blog design!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun at the game... that's interesting about Selena Gomez. I didn't watch the performance but I'm sure those things are more for TV than they are for the actual fans in attendance which is a shame!!! LOVE THE DECORATED BLOG DESIGN!!!!!! ... Did you watch Alabama/Auburn?! I still can't believe it happened like that.
ReplyDeleteOH goodness, I love your Christmas design. :)
ReplyDeleteblog looks amazing. you know my thoughts.
ReplyDeletewe both said come on scientists in recent posts. (like how weirdly are we connected)?

ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas design and Santa Paws!!! Ahhhh so cute! I watched a little of the Cowboys game on TV, but then I went into turkey coma and forgot to pay attention to watch was happening!
ReplyDeleteI love the new blog layout! What font is the header Venus?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a fabulous time at the Cowboys game and I'm also happy they won! I loved Selena's performance but maybe I'm biased because she's from my hometown.
Love your boots and PINK jacket :)

the design looks amazing. thanks for waiting until AFTER thanksgiving (unlike every department store).
ReplyDeleteLove the new design!
ReplyDeleteI went to a thanksgiving game in Detroit to see the dolphins and lions play with my fam, and by dumb luck chance we came across a sign up booth to be in the halftime show. Because my dad's a dolphins fan we were wearing jerseys to support him, and they made all the people wearing dolphins jerseys put detroit lions white t-shirts on over them haha. They also told us to dance around a lot and act super happy to be on the field. No problem, we saw Paul Fogerty from CCR play!
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas design! You might be starting a trend here, next people will be asking you for holiday specific blog designs. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Looks like you had so much fun! There is such a difference in going to a live game and watching it on tv....both have their perks! The atmosphere is amazing live, but I swear you see SO MUCH more when you watch on tv!
ReplyDeleteThe beauty of being a blog designer!! You can decorate your blog for the holidays! Clever!!! Looks like you had yourself a great ol' time. Did you "drink" your Thanksgiving dinner at the game? ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun game! I love the PINK sportswear too! It is so comfy and cute :)
ReplyDeleteThat intimidation face needs some work, I think you were giggling?! Haha! Love the sparkly make-over for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like so much fun! I'm jealous you got to see Selena!

The game looks like a blast! Love those boots too!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the blog decor!! Very festive!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on the wins! The Cowboys AND the Vols.
Love the festive look on the blog! And I really think that it's all the camera angles and closeups that make half-time shows so spectacular on television compared to the reality.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was covered in glitter after decorating on Friday I swear I thought "Sarah would be proud".
ReplyDeleteLove the holiday touches to the blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great time at the game. I'm not a Cowboys fan (49ers girl here!) but I really want to see a game at the Cowboys' stadium because I've heard it's amazing.
The Christmas-y theme is too cute, I love it!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had an awesome time at the game! Selena Gomez? Bugger she was boring, I rather like her.

ReplyDeleteLove the blog design? And I can I be super annoying and ask where your boots are from? I'm still trying to track down the right boots for winter!
ReplyDeleteI watched the Cowboys game Thursday and I thought of you. It was a good game, and I have DeMarco Murray on my fantasy league, so that was a big win for me!
