This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Lean Cuisine, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HonestlyGood #ad http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
When I was living in Tennessee a couple of years ago, I worked in a fast-paced salon sales environment. I was constantly on my feet, running around 9+ hours a day, traveling to different states and was constantly go go go. When I decided to move to Dallas to pursue my dream career, I traded my tennis shoes and yoga pants for heels and blazers. I found myself in a total lifestyle change, a desk job.
It is amazing how you can move to such a slower paced lifestyle, yet still find yourself with zero time. I work 8am-5pm at my day job, then scurry home, try to fit in a workout session if I have time, then fill my evening working on the blog, graphic designs and doing freelance for a company in Tennessee.
Not only do I not have time to get out pots and pans and mixing bowls and spatulas and preheat an oven, I have no desire to. As I've mentioned countless times on this blog, I love and rely on Lean Cuisine these days for a healthy dinner. You think I'm kidding? Check out my freezer....
Lean Cuisine has actually launched a new line of Honestly Good meals that are 100% all natural, have wholesome ingredients and include a sauce you can actually add yourself. I personally only like sauce on my meat, so it is really nice that I'm able to prepare the meal the way I want it! The new meals come in six varieties: Honey Citrus Chicken, Lemongrass Salmon, Pineapple Black Pepper Beef, Plum Ginger Grain-Crusted Fish, Pomegranate Chicken, Roasted Red Pepper Chicken.
Being healthy generally means expensive, but when I picked up the Honestly Good meals at Target, they were affordable and five times cheaper than eating out. Plus, most restaurants frown upon taking out your iPhone, laptop, camera, notebook, pens, planner at the table... everything I need to blog with.
The roasted red pepper chicken was delicious and filling. I also loved the pomegranate chicken. If you are like me and eat lean cuisine often, join their rewards program and get free stuff just for eating the meals you already love! Healthy, delicious and quick, what more does a hard working girl constantly on the go need?
Love the umbrella in the coke. I'm assuming there is rum too? At least you don't have to wash away your sorrows over Dallas this week. Finally :)
ReplyDeleteI'm always eating lean cuisines actually and am a rewards member. God, that's almost embarassing. But I'm with you, I'm always going and even though I do love to cook, sometimes I just don't have the time or energy to do it. Also? I love that there's an umbrella in your drink! :)
ReplyDeletedid you use your camera to take these pics? bc they are excellent. and we both tried the same ones first! of course we did.
ReplyDeleteI'm always a Healthy Choice girl but i'll definitely have to try these! Lazy girls dream :D
ReplyDeleteSweet T-Swifty DC you got there, pal.
ReplyDeleteYou make lean cuisine look good! Maybe I should give them a try again. How's the sodium levels in these?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Lean Cuisine! I literally ate one every day in law school--for 3 years. I didn't realize they had new ones! I'm going to have to try some for real!
ReplyDeleteI take Lean Cuisine's for lunch a lot. They are tasty!
ReplyDeleteI use to eat Lean Cuisine's all of the time, but then I got a trainer and she said they are loaded with sodium and junk and all of that jazz. It's nice to know that Lean Cuisine has responded to that idea and now offers a healthier version!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Those look delicious! I may have to stock up on some for lunch!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your work space. It's fly.
ReplyDeleteLean Cuisine yeah we have that here down under and have to say I like their meals too
