Sarah {Venus Trapped in Mars} :: Kym {Travel Babbles}
Kym:: Texas Roadhouse
Sarah:: Pizza Hut
Kym:: Ummm...I can put both of my legs behind my head? Is that considered talent? Can I use that at Miss America?
Sarah:: I can do a baby cry. Not just scream "whaaa" but you would think there was a newborn in my vocal cords.
Kym:: Mmmmm....well let's put it this way, Fox is my second favorite F word. Don't judge me, that four letter word gets a lot of slack, but I think it's very versatile.
Sarah:: Wigwam. No matter how bad of a day you're having, the second the word wigwam slides off your lips you will be instantly happier. Don't believe me, give it a go.....
Kym:: The only "celebrity" I've ever met in real life was Jason Earles from Hannah Montana back in 2008. He's was like 5 feet tall and 30 years old playing a 15 year old boy at the time, which I still think is pretty flipping creepy!
Sarah:: I've met Chipper Jones, I was 8. I saw Peyton Manning at a bar once but chickened out on saying hi. I went on John Legend's tour bus in hopes that he was there, but it turned out to just be his crew doing drugs. We left.
Kym:: A princess. But in all seriousness, I look forward to one day owning my own dance and barre studio.
Sarah:: Olympic Badminton Player. But in all seriousness, Olympic Badminton Player. //For the record, I'm aware the picture below is table tennis. I don't have one of me playing badminton (yet)//
Kym:: I would love to live in Key West or Tahiti, but I'll probably end up living by a small stream in Massachusetts.
Sarah:: I think I'm where I want to be. About a year ago I started applying for jobs in all the major cities I love (Dallas, Chi-town, NYC) and scored a position in Dallas. Now here I am rootin for all the teams I love, what could be better?
Kym:: If I had a million bucks I would pay off our car and all of our debt, I'd buy a house, and I would probably go a little crazy on frivolous things like a new wardrobe and shoes. I'd also donate a chunk to the Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network, treat my family, and then soon thereafter, I'd be stuck eating macaroni and cheese and hot dogs for the rest of my life because I'm terrible at managing money.
Sarah:: Well, now that Kym had to play the donation card.... I'm obligated to say that I would donate some to Susan G. Komen foundation. I'd like to say I'd save it, but knowing me, I'd have a new car, a new house and a crap ton of stuff from Forever 21.
Kym:: I wake up between 7-7:30am, make myself a coffee and check my email and social media accounts. I work from home as a personal assistant, and around 8am I start doing my part to make my client's worlds go round. Between 11 and 12 I do "blog stuff" then return to assisting my peeps from 12-2. My eyes are usually burning by this time so I take a break from the computer, eat lunch, run errands, remember that I have a dog, doink around, and return to work from 4-6. Around 6 I take another break, eat dinner, and keep myself busy doing pointless things. I try to mix in a run and some barre or yoga, and then return to the computer to do more "blog stuff" and work for another two hours. Wash, dry, repeat. To make a long story short, I basically sit on my butt for most of the day!
Sarah:: I wake up at 5am and go to the gym. I wake up at 6:30 and fidget on my phone for longer than I care to admit then realize if I don't get up I'm going to have to send that awkward, "I got stuck in traffic" message to my boss. I work from 8am-5pm at a place called Tohatsu. It is a Japanese outboard motor company (like on boats) and I find myself with very little patience trying to communicate with the guys in Japan many times throughout the day. I love my job though, especially when I get to travel to beautiful locations a few times a year! After work I go workout again. I come home and work on my second job for my old company back in Tennessee and do blog stuff before passing out to do it all over again!
Kym:: Being completely frivolous ... my iPhone, my computer and Netflix.
Kym:: I am most grateful for my family. We move around quite a bit and I've lost contact with a lot of friends in the process. It's true what they (who the hell are THEY, anyways?) say ... family will always be there!
Sarah:: Family! I totally include my two pups General and Venus as family members. Like Kym said, friends come and go, family will always be there!
OMG I need her Bulldog please. Because he is too cute!
ReplyDeleteI will package him up and mail him to you the next time he's being a monster ;)
DeleteI said it once (on Kym's blog) and I'll say it again - you two are adorable.
ReplyDeleteThis was so cute! Like Kym, I would love to be a barre instructor. And Sarah, I cannot believe how busy your typical day is! Two jobs and your first one is 8-5 pm?!! You have very good time management skills. I am beyond impressed (and do you sleep??).
ReplyDeleteBig Apple, Little Bites
Love that you want to open a dance and barre studio one day Kym! Annnd I definitely just said "Wigwam" and just chuckled haha! Thanks Sarah :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! Kym - in the "Meet Kym" photo... is that a sombrero over your shoulder? Awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt is! We had a photobooth at our wedding and our wedding party raided it before we were announced at the reception.
DeleteI love the two of you! And Kym's short hair in the first two pics is making me want to cut mine again.
ReplyDeleteDon't do it!!!!! Those pictures always make me want to cut my hair again ... but I had a really awesome stylist back when we lived in WV, and that's the only reason it looks good! I went to another stylist and asked for the same cut and it was a disaster!! If you're ever in West Virginia let me know and I'll give you the stylists number ;)
DeleteI'd never seen Kym's blog before this spotlight and now I think I've found my new favorite!! Can't wait to read more.
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet, thank you Sara :)
DeleteI want to be a princess too, but they'd want me to wear heels and that's a deal breaker *sigh*
ReplyDeleteCan we please talk about that picture of you and Chipper?! That is some serious gold right there!!;)
ReplyDeleteI do the exact same thing with my phone in the morning- why do i do that?! and i love that you said pizza hut! I will go to texas road house with kym and then late night pizza with you. thanks for the invite. also love to hear you say you are happy with where you are!
ReplyDeleteI love the word 'wigwam'! Kumquat is my all-time favorite word...and I'm a nerd. :)
ReplyDeleteso i want to hear this crying baby of yours, Sarah.
ReplyDeletelooooove all of the doggie pics! and that kym dances and does barre too. going to check out her blog now!

Fuck is an excellent word. There, I said it. There's so much that's awesome about it! Censorship is for suckers.
ReplyDelete- Lix | A Classic Notion
I like your style, Liz :)
DeleteWhy do I love this so much? Oh, maybe because I do the same social media "wake up" and end up having zero time to get ready. And I've had people actually had me do my baby cry for others...apparently its a talent that must be shared.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with being obsessed with your dog. I love mine to pieces! LOL.
ReplyDeleteMaria @ The Good Life
Love both of y'all's blogs tooooo much!
ReplyDeleteThis was all super cute. I can not believe you chickened out of saying hi to Peyton Manning! You, of all people.. I would never expect this Sarah!! I once saw Bobby Orr in the Toronto Airport and.. yeah, I went up to him and asked him if we could get our picture taken together. My husband... the biggest hockey fan ever.. chickened out and made me go up to him. !!! It was soooooo amazing. But I was shaking when I went over to him..!
