1. House Hunters.
Do you have those Saturday morning shows that you sit down to watch for just a few minutes before you need to get up, get out and run your errands? Take House Hunters for example, you watch the first episode, which automatically transitions without a commercial break to the next episode, you get all wrapped up in the show and can't leave until you find out which house they choose, then all of a sudden they've picked a home and you are meeting a new couple looking for a home in San Fran and you are paralyzed to the couch for another half an hour, yet again. And the cycle continues. Instead of wasting your entire Saturday, DVR house hunters and watch it any time you like!
2. Jeopardy
I cannot watch Jeopardy alone. I'll call out answers, then when I get them right, I need congratulations and praise from someone else. I need people to know I was intelligent enough to know that Brad Pitt was the star of the movie Benjamin Button or that protons and neutrons make up a nucleus (I think... right?). So far, neither General nor Venus are at a training level of issuing marks of praise. So instead, I DVR Jeopardy and force people who come over to watch and play along with me.
Wow, I sound super cool right now.
3. Wheel of Fortune
See also: Jeopardy. Dang it General and Venus, please hurry up and learn to play along with me.

4. Girl Code
You want blog post inspiration? Then you've got a friend in girl code. I have no idea when this show comes on, but what I do know is that each episode, when you remove commercials, is like 17 seconds long. I need more Girl Code in one sitting than just 17 seconds. This show is like crack to me, I just can't quit it. Trust me, DVR this show. Then vote me on as a cast member, #pleaseandthankyou.
5. Vintage MTV
I'm clearly using the term vintage lightly here, seeing as the hills has only been off the air for a hot second. P.S. look at those dresses.... WOOF!
When I see people tweeting at 11:30am on a Tuesday "YAY there is a Hills marathon on", or "Spending my afternoon enjoying back to back to back episodes of True Life" I get really irritated because I want to watch those! Doesn't MTV know that I have a job? Rude Ticket. Well I'll just outsmart MTV. DVR to the rescue.

Ok without further adiue, I want you to meet my friend Kaylee from With Love and Heartness. Kaylee is the sweetest person and I've enjoyed the chance to get to know her a little better after conducting this interview!
1. Tell us the story about how you came up with your blog name:
My little brother wanted to give his first grade teacher a Valentine's Day card, so he signed it, "with love and heartness" because there was more than just love for her. He still uses all the heartness he has with life, and I like to aspire to live that way. It's a family saying now, and a good reminder for what I want to include in my life- love and heartness!
2. What inspired you to start blogging?
I had a livejournal account in high school because I was the only one had feelings and emotions, right? After high school I went to Europe for three months so I wanted to keep my family in the loop with what I was doing in Germany. And Italy. And Switzerland. Anyway, in 2010 I picked it back up as a way to escape my thoughts while my car was in the shop and I was by myself all the time. And when I moved to Pittsburgh in April, I decided to take it seriously and here I am!
3. What is your favorite thing about living in Pittsburgh
I LOVE that the city is so close (20 minutes!) and we live right in the middle of the parks, so we can walk around in nature and then be amid the buildings all within the hour. Plus the beer... ahhh the beer. Some of the food is weird, like sandwiches and salads with fries. But the number one absolute favorite thing ever about living in Pittsburgh is the view. It's incredible and breathtaking and overwhelming and inspiring and and and.
4. I know you spent a lot of time working in a restaurant, what do you want people to know who have never worked as a server?
It's one of the most taxing and difficult jobs I've ever worked. It's not true for every server, but most servers I know are some of the most hard-working people I know. It was one of the most fun time in my life (think: meeting my very best friend in the world, working hard and playing hard, and making enough money to help put myself through college!) and it was also a big eye opener (think: being on your feet for 14 hours and dealing with difficult people while not having eaten for 8 hours and three tables need you all at once). Be patient. Be kind. Tip well and you'll be treated like gold.
5. What/where is your favorite place on earth and why?
Up North Michigan is a big top place. Preferably on Lake Huron because that's my favorite body of water ever. There's also this spot in the town I lived in while I was in Germany that was in the middle of a field next to a castle. But above anything, my most favorite place is anywhere with my man, B.
6. How would your loyal blog readers describe you?
A little sarcastic, hopefully fun, and truthful. I try to make everything I write filled with a positive, true vibe. Sometimes.
7. Anything else you want to tell the Venus Trapped in Mars world?
That this girl (Sarah) is the bomb.com and I'm honored to be here. Also, that answer is always 10. Or blue. And don't drink and drive. The end!
P.S. I think you're the bomb, girlfriend. And I'm sure all my readers will agree when they hear Kaylee is giving away $15 to Starbucks!!
