While you were sleeping I will be have been up since 430am every single day for the next two weeks while not getting to go to sleep until 11 or 12 each night. Fingers crossed I will get to nap for a few hours during the afternoon each day!!
This is not exactly a weekend recap, rather a week preview. That is allowed right, Sami???
See, not catfishing you...
The first week I am in the St. Pete area for a photo shoot. P.S. if you live in St. Pete we need people to be in the shoot. Come play with me and get free beer, what could be better?!
I do Marketing and Advertising for an outboard boat motor company, Tohatsu and Nissan Marine. I have terrible motion sickness, so I will be popping dramamine like it is my job because I'm going to be one sea sick passenger. I also don't know how to drive a boat, please pray that is not asked of me! There will be a lot of beer consumed (not while driving a boat, of course).
Seasick prone and can't drive a boat... hmmm... anyone else think I maybe choose the wrong line of work? I'm just in it for the free beer and wine.
So I will naturally be entertaining myself with selfies so my "beachy" outfits aren't totally wasted on a bunch of dudes that don't care. 5 Japanese guys + 7 guys over the age of 45 = #haaaiiiiillllppp
Wish me luck!
Follow me on Instagram so I have other girls to show my outfits to.
(JK, I only have 14 year old nike soccer shorts packed from here on out.)
But come follow me anyways.
Linked up with Sami!
This looks like a dream work week! Minus any seasickness. And hanging out with over-40 dudes all week. Minor details.
ReplyDeletethat iphone cover is A+
ReplyDeletehope you overcome the seasickness - outfits are SUPER cute - especially love the green skirt one!!
ReplyDeletehave fun!
Woah, sounds like a good time. Besides being seasick. I hope you have a great time!
ReplyDeletexo, Maria
Soooooo, when do they let you escape to see me?
ReplyDeleteI get carsick/seasick too. Have you thought about going to the doctor and just getting a patch instead? I used one on a cruise a few years ago and it was awesome! It lasts for 3 days and stayed put the whole time. I would do that instead of popping Dramamine...it would be easier at least!
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your trip!!
Call me a creep, but I totally read "boat motor company" as "motor boat company."
ReplyDeleteAnd on that note...I'm out.
HATE wasted outfits. best part about being blog famous- everyone here will see them.
ReplyDeletealso I totally get motion sickness on boats to so my heart (and stomach) feels for you
That actually sounds like a dream job. Why didn't I do marketing??? But really, I get carsick (but not sea sick?) and it sucks so baaadd so I feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteyour beach outfits look amazing! maybe you can snag you an old Japanese man on this trip ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look fab as usual! Other than the 430 wake up call it sounds and looks like a great time! Enjoy lover!
ReplyDeleteget over yourself and your early morning with that view. looks pretty fantastic to me.
ReplyDeleteI need this job lol. You guys hiring? And you look faboosh!
ReplyDeleteI hate being sea sick, it always happens to me on small boats. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that the more you drink, the less seasick you get... or maybe the other way around. Good luck! (Also, I'm super jealous and will be watching for boating pictures all week.)
ReplyDeleteI was just gonna ask what your job is, now i know :) What an awesome work trip? do you miss your fur babies ? You look great, btw :)
ReplyDeleteUh, JEALOUS. They never let me drink at work. Apparently bloody mary's aren't an appropriate beverage at the library. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHave fun, bitch.
ReplyDeleteWhat? I'm a little jealous.
Places to go. Things to do. Outfits to rock. Get it, girl!
ReplyDeletei need your damn job.
ReplyDeleteright now. for the travels mainly. and also the boats.
getting sea sick is the worst. good luck with not vomming!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! You'll get your "sea legs" quickly though. When you start to feel a wave of nausea, pick a fixed point on the horizon or on shore and set your eyes on it; that often really helps!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fabulous job! Hope the seasickness doesn't get too bad, though. :/
ReplyDeleteGood lord, you weren't kidding about the beer! You are well-stocked. I feel ya on the sea sickness situation. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteBeing the only girl is where it's at - I live with three boys and despite their mess, it's fantastic!
ReplyDeletewow.. I know it's work but it sounds like a nice little getaway...luckyyy!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to your beauty selfies!!! Have fun with some old dudes!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Wishing you tons of killer naps & no seasickness!
ReplyDeleteI liked the photos..............have an awesome time
ReplyDelete430am? Gross. I haven't seen that hour since I worked in coffee biz. But have fun with the beer/wine! Can't beat free! :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Your line of work sounds amazing- totally why I stay with my degree. I was totally poppin' my Dramamine today and fell asleep four five straight hours (and I'm still tired) so try not to let THAT happen...because you're there for work, and that would just really, really suck. Keep posting your cute outfits, girl, can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteas much as i love my job, sometimes i wish i could fast forward through school so i can get a cool job where i get to travel before i start teaching.
ReplyDeleteOther than the lack of sleep this looks like a pretty awesome week! The view from your room is to die for.
ReplyDeleteTotally living vicariously through you and these pics!! Not a bad gig mi lady.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics and adorable outfits! Enjoy the view and ignore the motion sickness. I HATE boats!
ReplyDeleteLove your line of business, Miss Seasick! Hope you survive! Maybe hit up the Vinoy's spa and spoil yourself.
ReplyDeleteOh man that sounds like fun...I'm expecting a hilarious story of you and a bunch of drunken old men at some point haha
