Okay so my hub walked by and I was scrolled down to the picture that says "take curling iron and move" and Stu was like what the hell are you looking at?? Wait, what is she doing with that?? He was very concerned I was looking at some girl with a giant plug-in dildo
You crack me up! I really needed this though. I just sit and stare at my curling wand and try to will it to work with my thoughts. It's not working very well.
I love curling wands. I use them a LOT! I really want to try the NuMe curling wand...I hear it is great! But I just bought a ConAir one so I will wait a bit. I like the wands SOOOO much better than normal curling irons. I get better hold and it lasts for days!! Seriously, DAYS! I feel like the wands with the tappered ends work best. I'm a new blogger and gravitated to this blog because of your title. Very veeeery creative. You seem like so much fun! :)
i love my curling wand. it took me a while to get used to it (after burning the hell out of my arm a few times) but now i can curl my whole head in 15mins and i have long, thickass hair!
I need to do this. Curling wands scare the shit out of me, but if you were brave enough to do it with wine, I need to put on my big girl pants and just try it.
you are the cutest - love this! i've actually been meaning to get one of these curling wand things to try. and why didn't my bangs ever look this cute when i had bangs?!? grrr. -- jackie @ jade and oak -- artwork giveaway
The hydration step is probably the most important part, especially since I would burn the crap out of myself 20 times before I finished curling. Love it! :)
Oh. My. Gosh. This may possibly be the BEST hair tutorial I've ever seen. Not only is it informative, but also entertaining. And obviously the most important part of hair styling is hydration. It's a crucial step in the process!
Hydrating is the most important part! Your hair came out great! Such a fun tutorial!

You're so freakin' adorable!! I should do the opposite and straighten. My hair is too curly for a wand.

Love this tutorial! So great.

ReplyDeleteThis is my exact process when playing with my curling wand -- wine included -- great tutorial! Also, I burn myself every. single. time. Oh well!
ReplyDelete"Don't forget to hydrate!" LOVE.
ReplyDeleteExcellent tutorial. Luckily my hair is naturally curly - don't hate.
The hydrating is my favorite part! And probably the reason I burn my fingers
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! I have been forgetting to hydrate!! That is my main problem I am sure. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteYou happen to have naturally curly hair, Venus! But I will follow the hydrating instructions even though I don't own a curling wand.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks GREAT like this! Now come do mine because it doesn't look this cute when I do it myself.

Ahaha! Man, you're cute! Thanks for the tuto :)
ReplyDeleteDon't think I didn't notice the Mario Kart shirt. I will never use a curling wand... I'm lucky if I use a brush, but I love your shirt.
ReplyDeleteliterally could not handle the play-by-play pictures. TOO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteTrue story, I have a huge scare that looks like a gun shot wound on my forearm from a curling wand. #fail
